Cyber Debates are only open to club members. To join go to http://clubs.yahoo.com/clubs/alspointsofview. Membership is free and are open to anybody. To join a team or form one, follow the instructions below: - First of all, you need to join the club at Yahoo!
- Second, you need to form or join a team.
- If you want to join a team, you can post a message in the message board (either the club or the forum). Of course it is up to the members if they will accept you as a member of their team or not. You can also send me an e-mail request of all the groups there are in the club.
- If you want to form a team, send me another message with the name of you team, the members, and the leader. You must have at least 6 members in your team.
- Now in case you have a club of your own or a mailing list, you can tell your members to the join the club and get ready for a "Cyber Debate." It is up to your members to join your team or join the opposing side.
- Schedule debates should be observed. Post a message in the calendar on what time you and your members are available.
- Topic for debates will be selected by you, your members, the critics, and me.
- Debates can be held through the message board, mailing list, the chat room, and maybe even get a chance to see your debate live at Studio 23's Points Of View.
- A debate can only last for one week, unless as requested upon by both party.
