The Truth About Vampires

According to some specialist and other vampire seekers, vampires are for real. They also believe that Hollywood is putting a lot of effort in making vampires look bad when in fact they are just like ordinary human beings. Some vampires are mean and some are as gracious. They eat other food groups and not just pure blood. Modern vampires gather blood from blood donors and not by sipping the blood from their victim's neck.

Most vampires are allergic to alliums including onions, chives, leeks, shallots, and of course, garlic. They do not sleep in coffins but some vampires use coffin tables as part of a practical joke.

According to the survey, most people do not believe in vampires. Why would they want to? It's only a movie! Some are concealing it because of fright. Another reason could be that some of these people may even be vampires. Portion of the people asked maybe vampires trying to hide their natural identity and so to discourage belief.

These creatures came to be vampires because other vampires drink blood from their neck. This is unnaturally true. Of course it can also be true since a person can be a vampire when another vampire makes contact with them either by the passing of saliva or other body fluids. The change starts when a virus called prion inflicts a person.

Vampirism can also be passed through generation. When a child is born to a vampire and a human, the child will carry the vampire gene but will not be completely vampire. If a vampire and another vampire were to bore a child, the child will always become a vampire. And if two people carrying a vampire gene have a child, the child may or may not carry the vampire gene.

Do vampires shape-shift into bats? They can but not as vampire bat but as a huge bat. Unlike werewolves, vampires can shape-shift anytime they want to. It takes a lot of effort and energy for a vampire to shape-shift. The bat vampire or "Wampyrus chiroptera" can be found mainly in Africa, New Zealand and South America with slightly larger population in China and India. These shape-shifters are unable to fly but can glide like a normal hang-glider. After the change, they will start to feel weak. It will take days or even weeks for them to regenerate.

Vampires are nocturnal creatures in a sense that they are restless at day and active at night. They age very slowly and are immune to some diseases. They live a longer life than any normal being. The oldest vampire recorded was over 3,000 years old. She live in what is now Thailand in 1345 BC. She committed suicide in 1973. It is said that the most common cause of vampire mortality is suicide. It takes a strong will to watch all those around you grow old and die, over and over again.

There are also several types of vampires. The homo sapiens, the psychic vampires and the homo wampyrus. Homo Sapiens are mortal blood drinkers. They are also known as Sanguinarian and do not shape-shift. Psychic Vampires drain energy from their victim by telepathy. They are often fragile and aggressive. Homo Wampyrus are the true vampires. They have pointy teeth and have the ability to shape-shift.

Some people would exaggerate the fact that they are vampires or are willing to be one. These people are either insane or completely addicted to vampire movies.
